概要
Ameniwaは、アバター作成サービスCHARATの開発者・運営者で、株式会社LIBRE所属のクリエイターです。CHARATは2016年から運営しており、累計約800万人が利用し、15言語に対応しています。名前を漢字に変換するKanjiNameは、NHK、テレビ朝日、ITmediaなどで紹介されました。
CHARAT、KanjiName、カードメーカーORICA、ameniwa.comの各ツールは、すべて同一人物(Ameniwa)が企画・イラスト・開発を行っています。オリジナルキャラクター「空(Sora)」の生みの親でもあります。

- CHARAT — 2016年から運営するアバター作成サービス。パーツはすべてAmeniwaが描いています。累計約800万ユーザー、15言語対応。かつては利用者の約半数が英語圏でした。2016年7月にMdN Design Interactiveで紹介されたことをきっかけに広まり、2017年には小説投稿サイト『トークメーカー』と業務提携、2019年にはNetEase Gamesのゲーム『永遠的七日之都』とコラボしました。ピクシブ百科事典にも記事があります。
- KanjiName — 外国の方の名前に合った漢字を提案するサービス(2016年12月公開)。NHK「News Up」、テレビ朝日「10万円でできるかな」、J:COMチャンネル、ITmedia PC USER、INTERNET Watchで紹介され、東急ハンズ京都店の筆記具刻印サービスで採用されました。
- カードメーカーORICA — トレカ風・手配書風などのカード画像を作れるサービス。2020年公開、2026年に復活。9言語対応。
- Sora's Pixel Converter — 画像をレトロなドット絵に変換するツール。Xのトレンドニュースに2度取り上げられ(2026年2月・3月)、GIGAZINEなどで紹介されました(2026年5月)。
- Sora's FizzPaint — 線が揺れるラインボイル表現のお絵かきツール。最大4人で同時に描けます。電ファミニコゲーマーで紹介されました(2026年3月)。
- 黒歴史診断 — 空が最大20問の質問で黒歴史を当てる診断ゲーム。GIGAZINEで紹介されました(2026年9月)。

- 東芝デジタルソリューションズ株式会社の依頼で、社内向けのCHARATのアバターを制作。制作物はネット上では公開していません(同社はCHARATの協力企業にも掲載)。

Summary
Ameniwa is the developer and operator of the avatar maker CHARAT and a creator at LIBRE Corporation. CHARAT has been running since 2016, has been used by about 8 million people in total, and is available in 15 languages. KanjiName, a service that converts names into kanji, has been featured by NHK, TV Asahi and ITmedia.
CHARAT, KanjiName, ORICA Card Maker and the tools on ameniwa.com are all planned, illustrated and developed by the same person, Ameniwa. Ameniwa is also the creator of the original character Sora.

- CHARAT — avatar maker running since 2016. All parts are drawn by Ameniwa. About 8 million users in total, 15 languages; at one point about half of its users were English speakers. It took off after being featured by MdN Design Interactive in July 2016, partnered with the novel posting site Talk Maker in 2017, and in 2019 collaborated with NetEase Games' "Forever 7th Capital" (永遠的七日之都). It also has an entry in the pixiv Encyclopedia.
- KanjiName — suggests kanji for non-Japanese names (launched December 2016). Featured by NHK "News Up", TV Asahi "10-man-en de Dekiru kana", J:COM Channel, ITmedia PC USER and INTERNET Watch, and used for the pen engraving service at Tokyu Hands Kyoto.
- ORICA Card Maker — makes trading-card and wanted-poster style images. Launched 2020, revived 2026. 9 languages.
